Kids Community is comprised of qualified, compassionate, and professional staff who have childcare experience and a passion for working with kids.

All of our teachers are certified in First Aid & CPR, and Food Safety. Teachers are also required to have passed a criminal background check provided by the State of Oregon’s Child Care Division.

We maintain high standards by training staff in a variety of topics including child development, supervision, health and safety, positive communication techniques, equity, diversity and inclusion, and other related topics.

On top of their qualifications, Kids Community staff are chosen for their positive nature, unique talents, and natural ability to work both with children and families, and within a team. We aim to maintain a teacher-to-child ratio at Kids Community of 1:10 or better.

KCLC Teachers
