Our Mission:

The mission of Kids Community is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which kids grow together through creative exploration, meaningful relationships, fun, and social-emotional learning support.

Kids Community Learning Center has been providing quality child care in NW Portland for over 40 years. Our program is dedicated to providing an inclusive, safe and enriching environment.

Kids Community goals:

  • Provide flexible affordable child care to all families

  • Provide opportunities for hands-on learning and creative exploration

  • Allow all Kids Community participants to have a voice and choice in the activities that are planned and implemented

  • Build teamwork and positive conflict resolution skills
